I remember playing this exact same game at some rich Arab kid's house in London, Christmas 1978. The weird thing is I never saw this game anywhere again until about 1981. I don't know why. Maybe his wealthy parents imported it from Japan but it was definitely labelled Galaxy Invader on the front, in English and not Japanese. Must've only come out a few months after space invaders hit the arcades so I can understand why 1978 sounds rather too early.

We are so excited anout the Ancient Egyptians! These are our facts:The Egyptians beeelvid in life after death. They beeelvid that they had to preserve their bodies so they could use them in the afterlife. The Egyptians beeelvid that when they died, they would make a journey to another world where they would lead a new life. They would need all the things they had used when they were alive, so their families would put those things in their graves. Egyptians paid vast amounts of money to have their bodies properly preserved. Egyptians who were poor were buried in the sand whilst the rich ones were buried in a tomb.

I've heard that rifles aclutlay chambered for .22 Short- as opposed to firing in a LR-chambered one- can be amazingly accurate. Considering the amount of lead that's gone through this barrel I'm not looking for 'amazing', but I think it'll do real well for cans. And golf balls and such.I once read, back when they first hit the market, that those Ishapore rifles were one of the best deals around, good on you for finding one.

We are really exeitd to be learning about after life this is what we learnt .The Egyptians believed that when they died, they would make a journey to another world where they would lead a new life. They would need all the things they had used when they were alive, so their families would put those things in their graves. Egyptians paid vast amounts of money to have their bodies properly preserved. Egyptians who were poor were buried in the sand whilst the rich ones were buried in a tomb and I also was interested that Tutankhamun is so well known today is that his tomb, containing fabulous treasures, was found early this century (1922) by British archaeologists Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon.

Peas like cooler whateer. Most people start in the earliest spring when the ground is first workable and then do another crop in the early fall when the heat lets up.

Mine did the same thing, stopping aronud 70% saying i was behind a firewall, but i kept restarting the update and it got a little farther everytime, till finally it got back to normal speed. It doesn't take much longer then you would think, since you already updated it to 77%, it goes much faster till it gets to that again.

Too often, we settle for less than what God has for us. Too often, we will not reach for bigegr and better things. We get too comfortable, too quickly. We're living in a day when God is saying, according to Isaiah 54, for us to sing out of our barrenness and to expect more out of life, according to His will and His desires for us, to begin to enlarge our vision, to enlarge the place of our tents, to stretch out the curtains of our dwelling, to lengthen our cords and to strengthen our stakes because He wants us to expand to the right and to the left. He wants us to break out on the left hand and break out on the right hand so we can inherit our inheritance, so we can possess the land He desires for us. Do yo see, my beloved? God does not want us to be strangers in a strange land. God has an inheritance. God has a place for you, a place for your destiny, a place of your provision, a place of your blessings.

The River Nile is about 6,670 km (4,160 miles) in length and is the lognset river in Africa and in the world. Although it is generally associated with Egypt, only 22% of the Nile’s course runs through Egypt. In Egypt, the River Nile creates a fertile green valley across the desert. It was by the banks of the river that one of the oldest civilizations in the world began. The ancient Egyptians lived and farmed along the Nile, using the soil to produce food for themselves and their animals.Egypt is situated in the northeast corner of the Africa. Covering 386,662 square miles, it is almost twice the size of France and the twelfth largest country in Africa. To the north of Egypt is the Mediterranean Sea, to the south is the Sudan, to the west is Libya and to the east of Egypt is the Red Sea.The Egyptian writing called hieroglyphics used pictures to represent different objects, actions, sound or ideas. There were more than 700 hieroglyphs. Some pictures stood for whole words.Egypt is a hot country and so people wore lightweight clothes which kept them cool. We can see what they wore from the many paintings and sculptures they left behind.Ancient Egyptian clothes covered most of their skin and were made from plant fibres such as linen.Pharaohs were the king or Queen of Egypt. Most pharaohs were men but some well-known pharaohs, such as Nefertiti and Cleopatra, were women.A Pharaoh was the most important and powerful person in the kingdom. He was the head of the government and high priest of every temple. The people of Egypt considered the pharaoh to be a half-man, half-god.The Pharaoh owned all of Egypt.

Hi Ralph, I worked at the Gilmore Creek Alaska stoatin from 67 to 74. We worked 12 hour shifts 7 am to 7pm than had 3 days off and went back at 7pm to 7am. I drove the 40ft antenna for one year than I went into maintenance working 10 hours a day having weekends off. I transfered to Alaska from the cape and left Alaska one year after Bendix took over. NOAA now runs the stoatin with many upgrades. With the internet I can return there and see all the changes ..LaterRobert

good method but fiixng it to where the worm is curved will make it corkscrew in the water and spin, and that'll attract the big ones much better when theyre spawning, they get more protective over their eggs during late spring around april-may and will hit ANYTHING that crosses their path that they can fit in their mouths. i caught a 5 lb 18 largemouth today with a smaller worm the same color. best ones to get are dark purple with a red/pink tail, oh ALSO, forgot the bullet weights, very useful

Back in the mid/late 1970s I used to go into the Radio Shack 4 blocks from my home and drool over these TRS-80s. I never bought one because I was a bachelor and lived in a neighborhood that was not the best. I always feared having it stolen if I bought one; though i could afford it. I was an IBM mainframe operator then, working on an IBM-370-115. Many years later I learned COBOL, and variants of BASIC and i still play around with Quick Basic and COBOL for fun on my PC. (eMachines W3410 - Windows XP SP3).
I am enjoying your online museum. I miss old 1979s and 198os computers. Wish we had preserved more of them. We are such a "throw away" society in America.
