Hi again,
The original brown 64 is first computer I actually owned in 1984. That one was damaged but I now have 2 that work well 20 years later

I was six or 7 when I got mine and the trailer.
Had a lot of fun with it. Then we moved and accidently it was dropped and one of the mailwheels broke.. :(

blehh get your facts straight about the amiga models. A1000 was the _weakest_ of the amiga models, not the other way around.

the a500, and in fact every model after it, were all more powerful than the a1000, which was the first and lowest-spec of the amiga models with its mere 256kb of RAM.

This is a 1984. Apple Date Code "4"=1984, made in "28"th week, series "3", "441"st of series, Under Applenet it is "7521"st of Lisas ("001"). I own 7062 made in 18th week of 1984. All are rare.

My school in Milton Keynes had one, circa 1985-86. I was about 7 or 8 at the time. It worked a bit, but no-one had much idea about how to operate the thing properly. I thought it was seriously cool at the time!

Great machine and home to many classic games and also serious software which is still used today. I loved this machine way more than any PC. The first machine I owned with the now standard 16.8 million color palette.

An iMac BEFORE Apple's - shame Acorn didn't develop this, it would have been an ideal BBC Games machine as well as a good education tool for schools - a fore runner to Apples eMac!

Got one (rather rescued it from the skip) - It works too, has all the disks, plus a monitor. Never really used it for anything.

Fantastic machine. Had one in 1980 (still have it too, and another with econet) - I am still addicted to this machine though I have it under emulation now (Chris Lamb's Horizon) on my Mac. Some great games too... Ghouls, Frak. Tetrapod to name a few. A nice easy machine to use.

I had a TI99/4A - had some great cart games like Parsec. Mine eventually overheated du to lack of air circulation. It's still in bits at my fathers.

These also had Flash Roms one could program and expose to a UV light box to erase. I used two, to store magnetometer data in its buffer and dump to a notebook computer in a survey of the West Point Foundry waterfront in Cold Spring, NY on the Hudson River.

Ah, one day I will be brave then, and take out all the innards just to get a picture of the bottom of the case. I suspect I will need to be very drunk...

These things ROCKED! I had one as a kid, and played it for hours and hours and hours. Using it as an adult, though, it does tend to give me a headache - I guess the lens is focused for smaller heads.
