I was six or 7 when I got mine and the trailer.
Had a lot of fun with it. Then we moved and accidently it was dropped and one of the mailwheels broke.. :(

I was 8 when i got mine, this had to be the coolest present i ever had, never got the trailer, no idea what happened to it, but recently got all nostalgic talking to my son and got another one off e bay bit battered but i have restored it to its former glory, dont make toys like they used to!!!!

My school in Milton Keynes had one, circa 1985-86. I was about 7 or 8 at the time. It worked a bit, but no-one had much idea about how to operate the thing properly. I thought it was seriously cool at the time!
