| show fullshow summaryBy the time that Bibo had the ring the nazgul were back. Besides,the books mention an endless storm (as in lightning) in the mountains surrounding mordor, and in "The Hobbit" the eagle's leader makes it clear that arrows can ill them with little trouble. Horde of orcs, anyone?
